Belice no tiene ningún paciente internado por Covid-19
No patients currently hospitalized due to COVID-19
As Belize’s efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 continues, the country can take pride today that there are no patients currently hospitalized due to the virus.
The Ministry of Health and Wellness’s (MOHW’s) latest national update says that there are no patients in any COVID-19 unit or receiving critical care for the virus in an Intensive Care Unit.
Meanwhile, another four patients have managed to recover from COVID-19 infection, according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).
One of the newly recovered patients was female and the rest were male. The national total for recoveries now stands at 12,346, and the national recovery rate stands at 96.9.
The MOHW notes that there are 72 active cases of COVID-19 and another 219 suspected cases under investigation.
The Ministry continues its rollout of vaccines countrywide and encourages all Belizeans to get their shot when the opportunity arises.
