Primer ministro de Belice se recupera tras exitosa operación
PM doing well after surgery
Prime Minister Dean Barrow underwent surgery on his back on Wednesday, November 6th to alleviate chronic back pain he suffers as a result of three herniated disks on his spine.
The Prime Minister went into surgery at 8:30a.m. at the DISC Sports & Spine Center in Newport, California. The surgery took 2 and a half hours. His family members who are along with him are reporting that the all went well with the surgery and shortly after the surgery he was alert and was even able to walk.
The family members told the Guardian that the Prime Minister expressed great gratitude to all Belizeans who kept him in their prayers. Various church services conducted across the country kept him in mind, especially those conducted by Bishop Philip Wright and Canon Leroy Flowers.
P.M. Barrow is expected back in the country on Thursday November 14th.
