Presidente de Dominica asegura que la economía crecerá este año

Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit, is projecting positive growth in Dominica’s economy in the new financial year.

This despite negative growth reported in 2012.

During the presentation of the national budget on Wednesday Skerrit said preliminary GDP estimates indicate Dominica’s economy recorded -0.1 percent growth last year.

He said while this outlook is not in line with government’s projections “it is slightly above the average of the ECCU region.
